At Boat Tours Sri Lanka, operated by SL BIKE RENT PRIVATE LIMITED, we want every guest to enjoy a wonderful experience on the beautiful Negombo Lagoon. We understand that plans can change, and we have created this Refund and Returns Policy to be as fair and transparent as possible.

This policy applies to all boat tour bookings made through boattourssrilanka.com or directly with our team.

Booking and Payment

All boat tour bookings require payment at the time of reservation to secure your spot. By completing a booking, you confirm that you have read and agree to this Refund and Returns Policy.

Cancellation by the Customer

We offer a full 100% refund for bookings cancelled by the end of the calendar day prior to the scheduled tour date. The cancellation timetable is as follows:

Cancelled by end of the day before the tour date — 100% full refund.

Cancelled on the day of the tour — no refund will be issued.

No-show (failure to arrive without cancellation) — no refund will be issued.

To cancel your booking, please contact us as early as possible by emailing [email protected]. Please include your booking reference number and full name in your cancellation request.

Cancellation by Us

SL BIKE RENT PRIVATE LIMITED reserves the right to cancel any tour due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to adverse weather conditions, unsafe sea or lagoon conditions, or other safety concerns.

If we cancel your booking for any reason, you will receive a full 100% refund of the amount paid. We will notify you as early as possible in the event of a cancellation on our side.

Refund Processing

All approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method used at the time of booking. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.

We are not responsible for any delays caused by your bank or payment processor once the refund has been issued from our side.

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:

The booking is cancelled on the day of the scheduled tour.

The customer fails to show up at the agreed meeting point and time.

The customer arrives late and the tour has already departed.

The customer is unable to participate due to personal reasons (illness, travel delays, etc.) that are not notified before the end of the calendar day prior to the tour.

Rescheduling

If you would like to reschedule your tour rather than cancel, please contact us at [email protected] at least one day before your scheduled date and we will do our best to accommodate a new date subject to availability.

Rescheduling requests made on the day of the tour cannot be guaranteed and will be handled at our discretion.
